BALLOONS OVER BASINGSTOKE
This event has ended, but was an annual balloon festival held early in August, from Friday to Sunday at War Memorial Park. Balloon nightglow on Friday, and mass launches at 18:00 daily. Arena events, fairground rides, mini zoo, inflatable slides for the children, and an array of stalls. Attendance 50,000. Free entrance.
